Barnstable Little League

The Junior Cape League (JCL) is our developmental division where coaches pitch to players and start to develop player's skills over the course of the season. There are no evaluations for this age group and there are typically 2 games and 1 practice per week. Practices and games start at the end of April through mid/late June. Players will be assigned to teams by the JCL Director.

Ages 6-8 (DOB: 9/1/16-8/31/19)

2 games per week (1 weeknight and 1 weekend) with 1 practice

The equipment requirement for this age group is a baseball glove. Bats and helmets are optional.

Spring 2025

Registration for the 2025 Spring Season: Majors, Minors, and Junior Cape League (JCL)

Junior Cape League - ages 6-8 - season begins with coach pitch and moves towards player pitch by the end of the season. Generally 1 practice and 2 games a week.

Minors - ages 8-11 - player pitch - generally consist of 1-2 practices and 2 games per week

Majors - ages 10-12 - generally consist of 1-2 practices and 3 games per week
